S-GAME has announced the installation and pre-load arrangements for the PC version of Phantom Blade Zero. While the base game size is 145GB, players who pre-load will need at least 300GB of available space to accommodate temporary files generated during the unpacking process.
Pre-loading for the PC version will begin at 10:00 on October 27, 2026, with the game officially unlocking at 10:00 on October 29. The developers recommend installing the game on an SSD and updating your graphics card drivers to the latest version beforehand.
Phantom Blade Zero tells the story of a swordsman with a wounded heart and only 66 days left to live, as he battles against conspiracies within the martial arts world. Based on golden-age wuxia films, the work incorporates elements such as mechanical prosthetics, industrial ruins, and rock music to create what the developers call a "Kung Fu Punk" world.
The game is scheduled to launch on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, as well as on PS5, on October 29, 2026, with a physical edition planned for 2027. PC players preparing for pre-load should note that the 300GB storage requirement applies to the unpacking phase and does not represent the final installed size of the game.
