Season 3 of "Cyberpunk: Edgerunners" has not yet been greenlit for production, nor is there any clear information indicating an imminent start. Creator Bartosz Sztybor stated that while there are still many stories to tell both inside and outside Night City, whether the series can continue to expand depends on whether key creative conditions are met.
According to him, CDPR wants the project to have both a "perfect story" and directors, artists, or studios capable of realizing that story with unique expression. Only when a suitable story and creative team are found, and it is confirmed that the team can once again deliver high-quality work, will Season 3 potentially move forward. If no suitable story or creators emerge, "Cyberpunk: Edgerunners" may remain at two seasons.
Recently, the official account for the series launched an "All About You" campaign inviting fans to submit fan art and in-game screenshots, listing "The Next Cyberpunk Legend" as a theme option alongside the tagline "The story of Night City is far from over," sparking speculation among outsiders. However, this social media activity does not constitute a teaser for Season 3; what can currently be confirmed remains limited to the creators' statements regarding the conditions for production.
