Indie game promotion brand Indie Game Joe has released data on its performance since launch. Operated by Joe as a one-person team, the channel has featured over 450 indie games, accumulating more than 500 million views and generating hundreds of thousands of wishlist adds for developers.
The aforementioned view counts are sourced from Joe's social media records, while wishlist data was compiled from emails and direct messages sent by developers. Since launching operations in March 2026, he has primarily used his personal time to sift through emails, direct messages, and Steam pages to select projects worth featuring.
Joe stated that he currently does not charge indie developers for featuring their games and has declined commercial partnership offers from multiple companies. As submissions increased, he recently set up a Patreon for voluntary support, while emphasizing that sponsorship does not guarantee coverage for any particular game.
Joe left school at 15 to work in painting and decorating. He entered the gaming industry in 2013 and transitioned to it full-time in 2020. He participated in promoting "Hyper Corps: Unboxed" and released his own game, "Don't Scream," in 2024, which reportedly sold over 1 million copies.
Despite the apparent stability of his career and family life, Joe still felt lonely and was diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in early 2026. Since then, he has rethought his definition of success and personal goals, deciding to leverage his marketing experience to help indie game developers.
