Data miners have uncovered a batch of images in the game files of the Switch 2 version of Pokémon Utopia, featuring over 20 Pokémon that have not yet appeared in the game. These characters may be added with the second planned content update, but Nintendo has not released a complete list, and these findings are not officially confirmed.
The first expansion for Pokémon Utopia, Bubble Basin, was released in August. The second expansion is confirmed to arrive before the end of the year. Currently, the developers have only explicitly stated that it will add accessories for players to obtain, while confirming that Bruh will be joining the roster.
Nintendo also stated that the second expansion will not introduce a new town like Bubble Basin did. A third expansion, scheduled for 2027, is already in the plans and will include a new town, though its specific release date has not been determined.
The Pokémon Utopia Expansion Pass is priced at $34.99 on the Nintendo eShop. Purchasing it grants immediate access to Bubble Basin and covers subsequent content packs. Assets found in the game files could also belong to scrapped, delayed, or repurposed content, so we must wait for Nintendo's official announcement to determine exactly how many new Pokémon will be added in the second DLC.
