UK retailer Argos has reduced the prices of two capacity versions of the Xbox Series S: the 512GB model is now £299.99, and the 1TB model is £349.99. There is currently a £50 difference between the two models.
The 1TB model was previously priced at £519.99, marking a significant price change. The media outlet suggests that the 512GB version is currently the more cost-effective option for entering the current-generation Xbox platform in the UK market, while users with higher storage needs may prefer the larger 1TB version.
The Xbox Series S is an all-digital console without a disc drive, capable of playing games from the same generation as the Xbox Series X. Launched in November 2020 with a starting price of £249.99, the current promotional price for the 512GB model remains higher than its original launch price, but Windows Central considers it a relatively reasonable promotional level at this stage.
This offer is subject to regional and stock limitations. Customers must enter a UK postcode to confirm in-store or delivery availability at their local branch, so this does not guarantee stock across the entire UK. The offer also has no uniform end date; actual prices, capacities, stock status, and delivery conditions are subject to the Argos purchase page.
