On October 26, Anthropic publicly filed an S-1 registration statement with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, planning to trade on Nasdaq under the ticker symbol "ANT." The filing does not yet specify a price range or the number of shares.
Reports indicate that this offering could raise at least $100 billion, valuing the company between $1.5 trillion and $2 trillion, potentially surpassing the record set by SpaceX during its June listing. Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley are listed as lead underwriters, with the transaction reportedly targeted for the week of November 16. However, the fundraising scale, valuation, and timing have not been finalized.
The filing discloses partial financial data for the first time. Anthropic reported revenue of $16.3 billion in the first half of 2026, up from $1.16 billion in the same period last year; net loss for the period was $80.7 billion, including approximately $72.4 billion in non-cash expenses from changes in the value of convertible notes and similar instruments, with an operating loss of $693 million.
Anthropic stated that it has over 11,900 customers spending at least $100,000 annually, and the company holds approximately $131.7 billion in cash and short-term investments. Its compute commitments include arrangements with Google worth up to $114.5 billion, with Amazon for at least $110 billion, as well as an agreement for AMD Instinct MI450 GPUs.
The filing also warns that the company may not achieve or sustain profitability, and costs are expected to continue rising.
