Cyanide served as the jungler for Fnatic’s League of Legends team, helping them win the 2011 World Championship. At just 16 years old at the time, he is reportedly still the youngest World Champion in history.

Former teammate YellOwStaR recalled living and competing together for over two and a half years. The two reunited this July for an exhibition match tied to the launch of League of Legends Classic, which was included in the broadcast of the 2026 LEC Summer Split. YellOwStaR described Cyanide as one of the kindest and most sincere people he had ever known.

French esports organization aAa, along with Fnatic assistant coach Odoamne and head coach GrabbZ, also posted tributes, highlighting Cyanide’s impact on the early development of the European region and a generation of players. He is the second member of Fnatic’s 2011 championship roster to pass away, following his teammate Shushei, who died of cancer in April 2025.
