Developer Miracle Scape has made the local co-op party game Kajipet, released in 2024, free-to-play, adjusting its price from $0.99. Steam users can download and play it for free starting October 22.
The studio stated that this change is to celebrate the start of development on their new game. Meanwhile, another title from Miracle Scape, Lizard vs. Slavs: Arena, has also been made available for free.
Kajipet focuses on local multiplayer battles. According to the trailer, each match requires at least two players and supports up to four, with no single-player mode currently shown. Players compete on small floating maps, aiming to defeat opponents or knock them off the arena to be the last one standing and earn points.
Map layers, environmental mechanisms, and random power-ups influence the matches. Some power-ups alter character abilities, while others manipulate the environment; the developers cited a "battle royale" mechanic that shrinks the area, forcing players into confrontation. The game also includes upgrade items, various level designs, and Easter eggs. Currently, the game has few reviews on Steam, lacking a substantial number of player evaluations for reference.
