New screenshots from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remastered have been released, focusing on the remastered Hyrule Castle and its surrounding areas. This reveal does not introduce new gameplay mechanics, instead highlighting the refreshed visuals and environmental settings of classic locations.
According to the official page, Hyrule Castle is the residence of Princess Zelda and other members of the royal family. Typically, only those with formal invitations are allowed entry, though the game may offer alternative ways to sneak in. South of the castle lies Hyrule Castle Town, home to various shops and friendly residents.
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remastered will launch on Nintendo Switch 2 on November 5, 2026, coinciding with the 40th anniversary of The Legend of Zelda series. A themed Nintendo Switch 2 console and Pro Controller are scheduled for an earlier release on October 29, while two new amiibo figures are planned for 2027.
Amazon Spain previously lowered the pre-order price of this title to €59.90, a 14% discount. The newly added content primarily enhances the visual presentation of Hyrule Castle and Castle Town.
