UserJoy Technology's tactical SRPG, The Legend of Heroes: Remake, released a letter from the producer to players today (the 27th), thanking players for their support since its launch on September 10 and reviewing major updates post-launch. This update also includes 9 items that permanently increase hit rate and a special outfit for the character "Cloti," which players can claim from the warehouse in each save file after updating.
Based on the classic title released in 1998, The Legend of Heroes: Remake features fully remade characters, scenes, and battle interfaces, while including all content from the original version. The development team stated that they have been actively optimizing combat balance, New Game+ challenges, and system stability based on player feedback since launch.

Hello everyone,
Since our launch on September 10, we have received many gameplay impressions, operational suggestions, and issue reports. Thank you for supporting The Legend of Heroes: Remake, and thank you to those who took the time to share their feedback, giving the team the opportunity to refine the details of the game.
Since launch, the team has been monitoring discussions in the comments section and community, adjusting combat balance, character progression, and the user interface based on player feedback. Your suggestions are an important basis for planning future updates and help us better understand the experiences that matter most to players.
For the few players experiencing issues with launching, crashing, or saving/loading, the team has been investigating causes based on feedback and releasing fixes accordingly. We value every player's experience and will continue to track and assist with individual cases that require further clarification.
This update includes one-month anniversary thank-you gifts, consisting of 9 items that permanently increase hit rate and a special outfit for Cloti. After updating, these can be claimed from the warehouse in each save file as a token of our appreciation. Future update details will also be shared via Steam announcements.

■ Major Post-Launch Updates: Combat Balance and New Game+ Adjustments
Since launch, the development team has continuously adjusted combat, character progression, and the user interface based on player feedback, and fixed issues affecting gameplay flow. The main updates are as follows:
New Game+ Challenges and Character Appearances
Starting from the second playthrough, players can choose whether to strengthen enemies when loading a save, challenging opponents equipped with late-game gear. The shop now offers "Origin" series items that enhance abilities; additionally, characters can freely switch appearances after class changing.
Combat Balance and Retry Features
Removed base evasion for enemies and lowered the level cap for main storyline enemies in the first playthrough to reduce the impact of missed attacks on combat pacing, making character progression more reflective in actual battles. On Normal difficulty, support skills now always take effect; Classic difficulty retains the original settings. After battle, you can choose to retry at the original difficulty or a lower difficulty.
System Stability and Quest Progression
We have fixed issues related to game launch, occasional crashes, black screens, and save/load errors, and improved memory usage during extended play sessions and scene transitions. Issues with Guru's second class change, event progression after loading saves, and certain battlefield sequences have also been addressed.
User Interface and MOD Management
Battlefield screenshots in the rewind feature now retain HP bars and turn counts to help identify rewind points. We have also fixed some control issues with controllers, skill menus, memoirs, and the classic version, and resolved an issue where subscribed Steam Workshop mods were not displaying in the MOD management interface.

■ One-Month Anniversary Thank-You Gifts
To thank players for their support, the official team is releasing "One-Month Anniversary Thank-You Gifts" with this update, including 9 items that permanently increase hit rate and a special outfit for Cloti.
After updating, a one-month anniversary thank-you message will appear on the main menu. The aforementioned gifts will be available in the warehouse for each save file; please check your warehouse to claim them.
■ Steam Workshop MOD Creation and Player Works
The Legend of Heroes: Remake supports Steam Workshop MODs. Players can browse and subscribe to community creations via the Workshop and view subscribed content in the in-game MOD management interface.

"Multi-Speed Adjustment"

Think the built-in 2x speed isn't fast enough? Faster than fast! The player-made "Multi-Speed Adjustment" MOD allows you to increase the game speed up to 32x! Adjust the speed to your preference and enjoy a smoother gameplay experience.
Additionally, the official "Falshion Creation Festival" is still ongoing. MOD submissions are open until October 28, with results expected to be announced on November 11. For video entries, please refer to the Steam event announcement.
■ Free DLC Still in Development
The official team stated that the previously announced additional DLC is still in development and will be provided as a free update to owners of the base game, bringing new story content. Details regarding characters, plot, and levels will be revealed gradually as development progresses.
