Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen for Nintendo Switch 2 has received the 4.1 update, which primarily adjusts character expressions and focuses on fixing issues with Pawn behavior, quest judgments, and overall stability.
Regarding characters, facial expressions during specific actions performed by the Arisen and Pawns have been adjusted. The update also addresses issues such as Pawns looking in abnormal directions, being knocked back when fighting certain enemies, stopping exploration, failing to sheathe weapons after combat, and frequently falling off cliffs.
Class-related issues include the Warrior's Goring Lunge not canceling as intended, abnormalities in the Magick Archer's lock-on system, and the Spell Fighter's Mirour Vesture effect not triggering between the Arisen and Sigurd. Fixes have also been applied for skeletons' eyes not glowing, characters being unable to break free after being grabbed by a Chimera, and Nogen's NPC not appearing in the morgue after death.
For UI and controls, the update fixes bugs where button assignments reset after restarting the game, weapon information saves incorrectly when changing outfits via the storage, and entering the "<" symbol causes text to disappear and locks the cursor. Issues where the "Back to the Temple" quest fails despite meeting conditions, and necessary mechanisms not appearing, have also been resolved.
Additionally, issues causing extended loading times or game freezes when resuming from sleep mode in Portable Mode have been addressed, and display anomalies resembling rain effects on the save selection screen have been corrected.
