LINE Games has revealed the performance data for its darkly humorous visual novel "Come to My Party!" following its participation in the Steam Next Fest. The developer stated that the game accumulated over 10,000 new wishlists during the event, with nearly 95% of players who tried the demo giving it a positive review.
The newly released Demo 2.0 features improvements to the storyline, character development, and overall presentation. It also adjusts the difficulty of mini-games based on previous feedback and adds a function to skip animations.
"Come to My Party!" is developed by indie developer SIMSANG YOON. Set against the backdrop of a Korean elementary school and its surrounding urban community in 1999, the story follows 10-year-old Ji-min, who decides to run for class president in order to host her first-ever birthday party. The plot revolves around her interactions with friends and the dynamics between three siblings.
The game features hand-drawn artwork that captures the atmosphere of life in the late 1990s and includes multiple endings that change based on player choices. LINE Games stated that they will continue to refine the game by incorporating feedback collected during the Next Fest and the Demo 2.0 period, with the full version scheduled to launch on PC in the first quarter of 2027.
