Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 topped the UK physical game sales chart in its first week. The PS5 version accounted for 78% of physical sales, Xbox Series for 19%, and Switch 2 for just 3%, with the PS5 version being the main driver behind this week's number one spot.
This weekly chart is compiled by GfK. Nintendo Switch Sports: Resort also launched this week, taking second place. EA SPORTS FC 27 dropped from first to third last week, with platform shares of 63% for PS5, 13% for Switch, 12% for Xbox Series, and 8% for Switch 2.
Another new release, Final Fantasy: Resonance, ranked fourth, with PS5 accounting for 54%, Switch 2 for 34%, and Switch for 12%. The top ten also includes Star Wars: Galactic Racing, Mario Kart World, Castlevania: Belmont's Curse, Minecraft, LEGO Batman: The Dark Knight Legacy, and the newly entered Planet Zoo 2.
This chart only tracks UK physical game sales, excluding digital revenue, and does not represent global combined sales. The data primarily reflects the launch performance of new releases in the UK retail market and the share of different console versions in physical sales.
