Electronic Arts released the major version 1.1.0 update for EA SPORTS FC 27 on October 27, focusing on fixing numerous bugs in Career Mode, Ultimate Team, Clubs, The Grounds, and interface operations. This update does not adjust gameplay balance or stats.
The patch number displayed on consoles is 1.000.008, also referred to as 1.07 in some sources, with the same patch notes applied across both last-gen and current-gen platforms. Fixes include issues where the opening tutorial could freeze, mouse input failing when controlling goalkeepers with keyboard and mouse on PC, certain transfer market search buttons being unresponsive, and incorrect player positions after saving new tactics. Issues where some menus couldn't be exited or required a game restart have also been addressed.
Ultimate Team has shortened pack opening animations, and players can retain filter conditions when continuously completing simplified SBCs. This update also corrects display or operational anomalies related to player items, objective counters, reward notifications, net colors, match overlay interfaces, and Gallery navigation.
For Clubs and The Grounds, fixes cover matchmaking queue freezes, infinite loading after cross-platform prompts, two goalkeepers appearing in 11v11 matches, and abnormal judgments in Street Football and mini-games.
The update also adds "Consistent Rivalry" and "Limited-Time Rivalry" objectives to the competitive relationships in Player Career, and adjusts the Team Management interface. Manager Career players can now modify settings related to press conferences, interaction frequency, and unexpected events during the save process.
