GTA 6 is scheduled to launch on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S on November 19, 2026, with the Japanese PS5 digital version expected to unlock at midnight on release day. If the reported file size is accurate, 210GB represents nearly one-third of the original PS5's approximately 667GB of usable storage. Players planning to play at launch may need to plan their storage space and download time in advance.

Another report also mentioned a 210GB file size and a November 12 pre-load date, stating that pre-loading would be available on all platforms. However, descriptions of applicable platforms vary across different sources. Therefore, at this stage, we can only cautiously associate the file size and pre-load date with the standard PS5 version. The claim that "all platforms will begin pre-loading on November 12" still needs verification.

The file size for the Xbox Series X|S version is currently unknown, and the download capacity for the Ultimate Edition has not yet been announced. If the final size of the Xbox version is close to that of the PS5 version, the Xbox Series S with its 512GB storage may need to allocate more than half of its available space for the game. However, this scenario depends on the actual file size of the Xbox version.
