62.5% of pre-order sales for Phantom Blade Zero came from mainland China, Taiwan, or Hong Kong. Within these markets, mainland China accounted for 75.9% of Steam pre-orders, while the PS5 platform made up 24.9%.

Phantom Blade Zero has generated $43 million in revenue, with 69.2% from Steam and 30.8% from PS5—the slight difference in share is due to regional pricing and a higher proportion of copies sold in lower-priced countries on Steam.

Phantom Blade Zero currently holds an 88 on Metacritic, making it another strong contender for Game of the Year in what has already been a blockbuster year. Since review embargoes lifted, the game has sold over 80,000 additional copies.

Phantom Blade Zero has already become one of the top 40 highest-grossing games of 2026 on PlayStation, Steam, and Xbox, even though it hasn't been released yet and isn't available for purchase on Xbox. While this title may not reach the insane sales peaks of Black MYTH - Steam Edition: Wukong, it still carves out its own place in this year's highly competitive market.
