VALORANT Patch 13.09 Adds Hush and Buffs Warden Rifle

VALORANT Patch 13.09 is now live, with the ninth Duelist, Hush, available to all players. Hush hails from Guangdong, China, and can manipulate the battlefield using telekinesis. She was previously revealed during the Champions tournament on October 18.

Hush can pick up weapons and the Attacker's Spike from a distance, and remotely operate switches. Her abilities include pulling and concussing players, creating flashes, and using anchors to briefly hover before launching a dash. She can also deploy suspended effects that she can manipulate and detonate at will.

This update standardizes ability descriptions and hint interfaces, establishing "Haste" and "Snapshot" as official terms. Haste specifically refers to increased movement speed, distinguishing it from Combat Stim, which affects fire rate, equipment, reload, and recovery speeds. Snapshot describes the static silhouette reveal generated by Cypher's abilities. Related icons cover agents such as Brimstone, Clove, Miks, Neon, and Waylay.

In terms of agent balance, Clove's Pick-Me-Up bonus movement speed has been reduced from 15% to 10%. Killing a Clove who has activated Not Dead Yet will grant the player an Ultimate ability point and a Signature ability refresh point. Jett's non-purchasable passive has also been removed from the purchase menu.

The Warden rifle's handling has been improved, with smoother vertical recoil for the first few shots. The error for the second shot has been reduced from 0.25 to 0.2, and for the third shot from 0.6 to 0.5. Additionally, this patch adjusts the Performance Score page and Radianite Point purchases in the Korea region, while fixing various issues related to abilities, map displays, sound effects, and controls.
