The official spin-off anime of "Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun," titled "Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun: IruMafia Arc," is confirmed to premiere in Japan on January 4, 2027, with a total of 12 episodes. The series has been scheduled for the Winter 2027 anime season and will air on NHK. Distribution and streaming platform arrangements for regions outside Japan have not yet been announced.
This work adopts a parallel world setting different from the main series. Iruma bids farewell to the cheerful school life of the original work and enters the mafia world after helping Sullivan; in this version, Sullivan is a mafia boss, and Iruma will live alongside familiar characters whose personalities and circumstances have changed. The newly released key visual provides a fairly complete look at everyone's alternative designs.
Regarding the production staff, Keiichiro Kawaguchi serves as director, Tatsunoko Production handles animation production, Katsuyuki Sumisawa is responsible for series composition, Kenji Fujisaki handles character design, and Yayoi Sekizawa composes the music. The spin-off story is written by hirosha and supervised by the original creator, Osamu Nishi.
The main series' voice actors will continue to portray their respective characters in the parallel world, including Ayumu Murase as Iruma, Ryohei Kimura as Asmodeus, Ayaka Asai as Clara, Mitsuki Saiga as Opera, Saori Hayami as Ameri, and Daisuke Ono as Kalego.
The fourth season of the main "Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun" series concluded earlier this year, followed by an announcement that a theatrical film is in production. However, no release window or specific date for the film has been disclosed yet.
