Singularity 6's free-to-play MMO, Palia, has launched version 2.08, "Autumn Festival: Homecoming," on Nintendo Switch. This update centers around autumn, friendship, and celebrations in the Kilima region, adding group quests, seasonal rewards, a skateboarding minigame, and Corgi raising.
Once players reach Friendship Level 5 with Sifu, Hassan, Taren, and Ulf, they can unlock the group quest "Beasts Unburdened," bringing the four characters together. The bulletin board also features the "Feast of Thought" quest, where players can help Gina prepare for the Harvest Festival and earn four food-themed avatars: ramen, pie, dessert, and afternoon tea.
The new "Classic Path" offers 22 levels of free and premium rewards, inspired by video games and electronic pets from the 1980s and 1990s. Rewards include retro arcade machines, cassette players, pixel art illustrations, and cosmetic items.
A new experimental skateboarding area has been added to the Highrise, where characters can transform into farm animals to perform tricks and combos, or participate in a three-minute two-team coloring contest. The farm animal system now includes Corgis, available in six coat colors and two patterns.
Home decor, gardening dyes, and plush collectibles of Crab Warriors and Devil Rays have also been expanded. The Premium Shop now features clothing, jackets, Corgi pets, Vaporwave gliders, tool skins, emotes, and landscaping items.
