Logitech Launches MX Master 4 Developer Edition! Hardware Specs Same as Standard Version

Logitech has launched the MX Master 4 Developer Special Edition, paying tribute to "the developers who shape the digital world" with a code-themed design. The new model does not feature hardware upgrades, maintaining the same performance, features, and pricing as the standard edition.

The Developer Special Edition continues to use an 8000 DPI sensor and the MagSpeed scroll wheel capable of scrolling 1000 lines per second. It retains built-in haptic feedback, Action Ring shortcut buttons, multi-device pairing, and USB-C fast charging. Its 650 mAh battery is rated for up to 70 days of use.

This mouse features a two-tone dark and light gray shell accented with vibrant green. The body surface is laser-etched with elements like double slashes, tag labels, circuit traces, and the "Hello, World" execution prompt. It also hides Easter eggs such as "0xFF + 1", "09.17", and "!04.01", referencing World Programmer's Day, the Linux kernel release date, and World Backup Day, respectively.

The MX Master 4 Developer Special Edition is priced at $120 or €130 on Logitech's website, the same as the standard model, and comes with a two-year warranty. As there are no new features added, existing MX Master 4 users will not see any performance or usage experience upgrades; the main differences between the two products lie in their appearance and thematic collectibility.
