ADATA's gaming brand XPG has announced the launch of the third-generation CORE REACTOR III Gold fully modular power supply series, offering 750W, 850W, and 1000W wattages, targeting high-performance computing, AI applications, next-gen gaming platforms, and high-end PC configurations.

This series was previously showcased technically at that year's COMPUTEX. XPG stated that these new releases are the brand's first officially launched power supplies featuring XTREME Power Guard technology, which continuously monitors current, issues real-time alerts upon detecting anomalies, and actively cuts power to enhance power supply protection under high-load conditions.

The third-generation products support ATX 3.1 and PCIe 5.1 standards, can handle instantaneous power loads of up to 235%, and have earned 80 Plus Gold certification. XPG states that AAA gaming, 4K content creation, generative AI, 3D rendering, and GPU-accelerated computing place sustained and peak instantaneous loads on graphics cards and processors, making GPU power protection a key upgrade focus for the new models.
