Neos has launched the PC version of "Card Summoner: Origins" on Steam. As the first new entry in the "Card Summoner" series in ten years, this title continues the blend of board game and card game mechanics, while updating the design, user interface, and world-building.
The Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 versions were released on July 16, 2026, with cumulative shipments exceeding 100,000 copies, including digital downloads. The Steam version is priced at 6,380 yen, with a 10% discount available until November 11.
The Steam version adds three distinct battle maps: "X," "Fortune Alley," and "Holy Hammer." It also introduces 10 new deck covers for in-game decks. Five of these feature creatures selected by the development team, while the other five are inspired by the game's maps. The card encyclopedia now includes a name voice reading function, allowing players to hear the names of creature, spell, and other cards read aloud.
This update also improves various battle experiences, including enhancing the visibility of character positions in map mode and optimizing the display of forward direction at route forks. These new features and adjustments are expected to be available soon via a free update for Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 players, with the specific date to be announced separately on the official website and social media channels.
