Bandai Card Games announced that the free-to-play mobile game Digimon Alysion is now open for pre-registration in 49 countries and regions. iOS users can register via the App Store, while Android users can pre-register on Google Play. The game is scheduled for release in 2026.
The App Store page currently lists December 23, but this date has not been confirmed by an official press release and may just be a placeholder, so it should not be considered the official launch date. Based on the Digimon Card Game, the game's story is set in the world of the webcomic and light novel Digimon Liberator, and will include game-exclusive new cards and an all-new story mode.
The story revolves around Kanata Hondo, a beginner at card games. With help from her friend Futre and in-game guides, she learns the rules and participates in battles, with the story mode also serving as a tutorial for new players. Revealed characters include Kanata Hondo, Futre, Valner Dragnogh, Renamon, and Aliol. The voice cast includes Shu Uchida, Hikaru Kubota, Fairouz Ai, Miyuki Sawashiro, and Ayumu Murase.
In terms of gameplay, the title will offer multiple decks and feature battles, ranked matches, and tournaments that emphasize competition and strategy. The official team also released a pre-registration trailer, a promotional video for the "BD-01 New Evolution" card pack, and a batch of in-game screenshots.
