Palit and GALAX have officially denied the rumor that "GALAX graphics card production will shut down," confirming that no manufacturing facilities have been closed and that production and operations are continuing normally. Related products continue to be supplied to local and international markets, with no announced changes to customer support.
Both companies also confirmed that Palit and GALAX belong to the same group and share production facilities. This clarification addresses news that appeared the previous day: those reports cited industry insiders claiming that NVIDIA GPU shortages prompted Palit to close GALAX's factory, speculating that GALAX, the European brand KFA2, and the HOF series might eventually disappear, with manufacturing resources shifting to Palit and Gainward products. GALAX directly denied these claims in its statement.
Similar rumors have surfaced before. In April this year, Palit clarified that consolidating the brand management of GALAX, KFA2, and HOF under the group headquarters was an internal restructuring and did not mean exiting the GPU market.
Just days before this round of rumors emerged, GALAX released the GeForce RTX 5080 HOF Extreme on October 22. Currently, both companies have clearly stated that their factories have not closed; however, GPU supply conditions and internal capacity allocation within the group should still be distinguished from unverified market speculation.
