Analyst Says GTA 6 PC Version May Launch About Six Months After Console Release

Recently, Wedbush Securities analyst Michael Pachter discussed the platform arrangements for GTA 6, stating that the game is not a PS5 exclusive and will also launch on Xbox Series X|S. He suggested that the PC version might be released "about 6 or 7 months" after the console version, but this timeline has not been confirmed by Rockstar Games.

分析师称《GTA6》PC版或在主机版推出约半年后发售

Based on the mentioned console release date of November 19, this prediction places the PC version's release window roughly between April and June 2027. Previous reports indicated a Q1 2027 launch for the PC version; while these two unconfirmed timeframes are relatively close, they are not entirely consistent.

Pachter's statement represents his personal judgment or insider information, not an official schedule announced by Rockstar Games, and his predictions are not always accurate. It is currently impossible to confirm whether the PC version has a locked-in quarter, date, or development progress.

For comparison, Grand Theft Auto V was released on September 17, 2013, with the PC version arriving nearly two years later. If the approximately six-month gap between the console and PC versions of GTA 6 holds true, the wait time between the two releases will be significantly shorter.
