Hello Games has released the 7.10 "Forsaken" update for No Man's Sky, marking the game's fifth major update of 2026. Players can now warp directly to neighboring stars for the first time without needing to open the galactic map to plan their route, and the mobile version is also now available.
With the update, nearby stars appear as brighter points of light in the sky. By aiming their ship at a target, players can view the corresponding star system's name and follow the prompts to complete the warp. This ability seems to fulfill the concept showcased at the end of the game's E3 2014 trailer; that trailer also featured cooperative gameplay, a feature that was added years after the game's initial release.
The "Forsaken" update also introduces Forsaken Traders, allowing players to exchange rare goods for Light Freighter modules. Additionally, this update adds an immersive HUD mode and brings new eerie creature samples fitting the Halloween atmosphere.
The mobile version is another significant milestone in this update. The development team had previously considered adapting the game for mobile devices a seemingly impossible technical challenge, but the final version's installation size has been kept under 5GB.
