Fortnite has launched its final collaboration for this year's Halloween season, with the Predator: Badlands movie-themed bundle entering the Item Shop on October 28 at 5 PM PT / 8 PM ET. The bundle includes a new Predator skin and the Thia back bling.
The new skin is the first Predator outfit available through the regular Item Shop since its inclusion in the Chapter 2 Season 5 Battle Pass. The other major feature, the Thia back bling, is based on the android from Weyland-Yutani Corporation portrayed by Elle Fanning in the film.
In the movie, Thia is torn in half by the creature Kalisk on a hostile planet and subsequently teams up with the young Predator, Dek, spending most of her time carried on his back. As a result, the game designs her upper body as a back bling. Humanoid body back blings are uncommon in Fortnite, with the C-3PO back bling released in 2024 being the most similar previous example.
The Thia back bling is labeled as interactive, meaning it should trigger animations or sounds based on player actions during matches. However, content creators who received the cosmetic early have not yet demonstrated significant interaction in their videos, suggesting potential issues with the current version. Chapter 7 Season 4 and the Halloween event will end on Halloween night, and the One Piece-themed mini-season will begin on November 1.
