The Legend of Zelda 40th Anniversary Nintendo Switch 2 Special Edition is set to officially launch on October 29, with supply situations currently inconsistent between the US and UK markets. This console features a green and gold theme, with green Joy-Cons and a gold dock, and has a suggested retail price of $519.99 or £434.99.
The special edition is priced slightly higher than the standard Nintendo Switch 2 after its adjusted MSRP, which sells for $499.99 or £419.99. The console package does not include The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remastered, which is scheduled for release on November 5 and must be purchased separately.
In the US market, Target and Best Buy both restocked in the previous week, but as of this update, major channels are not showing stock. Walmart, Amazon, and the official Nintendo store remain channels to watch on launch day.
Amazon UK still had stock at the time, but the price reached £499.99, higher than the suggested retail price of £434.99. Argos allocates stock by postcode, and Smyths Toys, Very, Currys, and the official Nintendo store may continue to restock. Nintendo previously stated that it underestimated demand and said more stock is on the way.
