SEGA has announced that the Farming Simulator 25: Coffee Beans & Alpacas expansion is now available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Mac. Centered around the South American farm Catuaí, the expansion introduces coffee, bananas, alpacas, Brahman cattle, and over 25 pieces of machinery.
The landscape of Catuaí is inspired by Brazilian coffee plantations, featuring red soil, lush vegetation, gentle hills, narrow roads, rivers, and humid valleys. In addition to farming, players can search for dinosaur fossils displayed in local museums or venture deep into the forest to explore research facilities.
New crops like coffee and bananas come with their own processing equipment, including drying and roasting facilities, as well as transport tracks and washing stations. Harvested crops can be further processed into products such as tiramisu and banana chips. As for animals, players can walk alpacas to boost their happiness, shear them once a year, and sell or process their wool into yarn, socks, pillows, furniture, and dolls. The farm environment also features parrots and non-biting caimans.
The machinery lineup adds over 25 new pieces of equipment, covering several existing brands, with Colombo Industries and Southern Spreaders joining the series for the first time. Farming Simulator 25: Coffee Beans & Alpacas is included in the Year 2 Season Pass, available for separate purchase, and also offered in a special bundle with the base game.
