Neuron Activation, a new PC title developed by DR Studio and published by Pretty Soon, launched on Steam on October 29. Set against the backdrop of futuristic control panels, the game features over 60 levels and offers a Zen mode that disables timers and scoring.
Players must follow instructions to press buttons, toggle switches, move sliders, or shoot targets. While individual tasks are simple, they gradually overlap as you progress. You'll need to manage different areas of the panel simultaneously within time limits, testing your reaction speed, attention distribution, and multitasking abilities. Levels also include speed tests and boss battles.
The game also features an unsettling storyline. Your supervisor, who monitors your actions, will continuously issue commands that grow increasingly bizarre. As you work for a mysterious corporation, you'll face the dilemma of whether to continue obeying orders.
The game supports mouse controls, with touch input available on compatible devices. Zen mode has no time limits or scoring, allowing players to focus on the tactile feedback of buttons and switches.
