tri-Ace has announced that Resonance of Fate Remastered is now available on PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam. Building upon Resonance of Fate 4K/HD Edition, this new version further enhances visuals, supporting native 4K output and HDR.
The game is priced at $34.99, £28.99, €34.99, or ¥4,070. Users who already own the PlayStation 4 or PC version of Resonance of Fate 4K/HD Edition can upgrade to the Remastered version for $9.99.
Resonance of Fate Remastered was originally released in 2010, set in a distant future where humanity's living environment is on the verge of collapse. Survivors rely on massive environmental control machines known as "Basels" to sustain their lives. Players follow a group of protagonists working as mercenaries, advancing the story through intense gunfights.
The game features a steampunk aesthetic and centers its narrative around the theme of fate, with gunplay and orchestral scores as key highlights. The soundtrack was composed by Hiroki Sakurai and Kohei Tanaka. This version's upgrades focus primarily on native 4K resolution, HDR support, and enhanced visual quality.
