Today, EA and Respawn officially released the gameplay trailer for Apex Legends: Decrypt the Sky, showcasing various new gameplay features that allow players to gather key intelligence for their squad, gaining the upper hand through strategy and firepower.
The upcoming season brings more strategic gameplay and greater firepower to the battlefield. Here, the deadliest weapon isn't a gun—it's intelligence.

Apex Legends: Decrypt the Sky will bring several in-game updates, including:
● Crypto Gameplay Rework
○ Thanks to a new firmware update provided by his sister Mira, Crypto's gameplay shifts from passively guarding his drone to actively engaging and gathering intelligence.
○ His drone is now battery-powered instead of relying on a cooldown mechanic, allowing it to be recalled and redeployed without long waits. Additionally, the drone has a new Sentry Mode that automatically marks enemies in its line of sight.
○ Additionally, his EMP Ultimate can now be activated with a single button press.
● Dual-Wield Assist Pistol
○ The Dual-Wield Assist Pistol combines precision and firepower, delivering double damage as dual-wielded revolvers, packing a serious punch.
● Supply Stations
○ The new Supply Stations are an evolution of the Care Package mechanic, delivering high-tier, high-risk loot with a dramatic flair.
○ Raiding Supply Stations offers the entire squad a chance to obtain Care Package weapons, Evo Shields, and Mutators. However, opening a Supply Station takes time and triggers an alarm, revealing your exact location to all nearby players. Fortunately, cover and hard light structures spawn around the Supply Station to help players hold their ground and secure the loot.
● Revenant and Lifeline Buffs
○ Revenant becomes more aggressive: Ultimate cooldown is reduced, and Tactical abilities are deployed faster. New upgrade options allow Revenant to extend Ultimate duration after each enemy knockdown, silence nearby enemies upon landing with Shadow Pounce, or automatically refresh Shadow Pounce while enemies are marked.
○ Lifeline's D.O.C. cooldown is reduced, she can self-heal while ziplining, her Ultimate cooldown is shortened, she gains shields when reviving teammates, and her aerial mobility is improved, all helping her more easily gain the upper hand in battle.
● Ranked Updates
○ Matches at Diamond rank and above will introduce a new Legend Ban mechanism, making each match's battlefield dynamics more varied. Each player can vote to ban one Legend. The more votes a Legend receives, the higher the probability they will be banned in that match.
