Blizzard Entertainment has released the Overwatch animated short "Feast or Famine," shifting the focus to the long-standing power struggle within "Talon." Organization leader Doomfist faces off against his rival Reaper in a final showdown, with both vying for control of the entire organization.
Previous storylines focused on internal divisions and power struggles within Talon. This short film ties into the culmination of the faction's annual narrative arc, and the outcome of this conflict will lay the groundwork for future developments in the Overwatch universe.
The story from the short film also extends into the game. Related follow-up content has been integrated into the gameplay of Season 5, "Shadow Doctrine," which went live on official servers on the same day the short was released.
Overwatch is a free-to-play multiplayer shooter currently available on PC and consoles.
