tri-Ace has announced that Resonance of Fate: Enhanced Remaster is now available on PS5 and PC, priced at $34.99 for the standard edition. Players who previously purchased the PS4 or PC version of Resonance of Fate: 4K/HD Edition can upgrade to the new version for $9.99.
Originally released in 2010, Resonance of Fate is a Japanese role-playing game centered around a gun-based tactical combat system. An enhanced version, Resonance of Fate: 4K/HD Edition, was released in 2018, and this new enhanced remaster builds upon that edition with further upgrades.
The new version features native 4K resolution and HDR support, with frame rates reaching up to 120 FPS. It also includes a double-speed game function, further enhancing visual performance and gameplay pacing on modern platforms.
Set in the distant future, the remnants of humanity reside within a colossal mechanical facility known as Basel, relying on it to maintain a habitable environment. The story follows three mercenaries who become embroiled in a large-scale conflict involving the interests of the city's ruling class.
