Shueisha Games announced today that BAKUDO, a sci-fi school-themed ball sports Boss Rush action game developed by SAYIL GAMES, was featured in "Indie World 2026.10.28" broadcast on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, and is confirmed for release on the Nintendo Switch 2 platform.
At the same time, a new trailer focusing on the school life at "Asahi Academy," the prestigious BAKUDO academy, has been released, along with new artwork, a new logo, and information on three main characters including the protagonist, Yuria.

In conjunction with the "Indie World 2026.10.28" presentation, the team has released a new trailer featuring Yuria, who attends the top BAKUDO school "Asahi Academy." The trailer showcases her school life, daily interactions with friends, and intense battles against the "Asahi Eight Stars," the academy's elite.

We are specially revealing new artwork depicting the protagonist Yuria and her rival, Aria, known as the "strongest" among the Asahi Eight Stars, the academy's elite. The image captures the moment Yuria clashes head-on with the academy's strongest girl in a fierce game of "Dodgeball."

We are also specially revealing character profiles and illustrations for three main characters who appear in the new trailer's depiction of school life and play major roles in the game.
【Yuria】
A freshman in the Dodgeball Department at Asahi Academy.
Guided by the only clue left by her father, she came to Asahi Academy. Straightforward by nature, she acts before she thinks when seeing someone in trouble. What she finds most difficult to handle is kindness shown towards her.
【Eve】
An upperclassman from the Support Department and a genius inventor.
Cheerful and quick to bond with anyone, she is both the group's mood maker and Yuria's partner. Although she loves to tease Yuria, she is more reliable than anyone else in critical moments, acting like an older sister figure.
【Aria】
The leader of the Asahi Eight Stars.
A universally acknowledged perfect genius. Calm, composed, and taciturn, she never shows her emotions.
It was she who presented Yuria with a harsh trial.
