White Games has announced that Beef Bowl Simulator will launch on Steam on November 13, 2026, with a standard price of 985 yen. For the first two weeks after release, the game will be available at a 20% discount, priced at 788 yen.
This is a first-person restaurant management simulation game created by a developer who worked at a beef bowl restaurant for nearly ten years. Players will manage a small shop called "Gyudon!" and complete tasks following real-world procedures, including washing rice, cooking, meat preparation, plating, serving, checkout, and dishwashing, gradually turning the small shop into a thriving business.
Resource and time management are the main sources of pressure in running the business. It takes 30 minutes to wash and cook rice, so waiting until it runs out before preparing more will result in delays; running out of rice forces the shop to close early, reducing the manager's salary. Customers may also request regular, large, extra-large portions, extra broth, or additional toppings. If serving time exceeds five minutes, customer anger levels will rise.
The game supports online co-op for up to four players and features proximity voice chat that can only be heard by nearby teammates. As more people join in managing the restaurant, the number of customers will increase. The game can also be played solo; when short-staffed, NPC part-time employees will provide assistance.
