Wrong Organ and Screen Gems, a subsidiary of Sony Pictures, have announced that a Mouthwashing film is in development: Screen Gems has secured the adaptation rights, with Scott Derrickson (Doctor Strange, The Black Phone), C. Robert Cargill, and Vince Cheng producing under their Crooked Highway banner. Karyn Kusama (Jennifer's Body, Yellowjackets) will direct, with Matt Manfredi and Phil Hay (The Invitation) writing the screenplay. While plot details remain under wraps, this critically acclaimed space nightmare is set to reach audiences worldwide through the cinematic experience.
When the interstellar cargo ship Tulpar, operated by PONY Express, veers off course, five crew members find themselves trapped aboard a long-decayed wreck. Power is failing, food is running out, and rescue is nowhere in sight.
