Bethesda Celebrates The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remaster Release with Link's Armor from Skyrim

Following the official release of the Nintendo Switch 2 remaster of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Bethesda congratulated Nintendo via its official account. Instead of using standard promotional materials, Bethesda shared a screenshot from The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim featuring Link in armor, creating a tribute that bridges the two fantasy adventure worlds.

In the post, Bethesda used the imagery of "From Hyrule to Skyrim" to wish well to legendary adventures across different realms, while directly congratulating Nintendo of America on the release of the remastered version of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.

This image share was a gesture of goodwill between publishers upon release, not an announcement of an official partnership. There is no information indicating that Bethesda participated in the development of the remaster, nor have the two companies announced any new collaborations. Additionally, no new content has been added to The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim as a result.

The game's launch coincided with the 40th anniversary of The Legend of Zelda series, with two new amiibo figures planned for release in 2027. Amazon Spain also restocked the game at the time, priced at €59.90.
