Reports indicate that Marvel plans to launch the spy-themed series "Zodiac" in 2028. The project is said to adopt a more restrained budget and aims for continuous production across multiple seasons, serving as the starting point for Marvel's new phase following adjustments to its television business.
According to current disclosures, after "Vision Quest" concludes, "Daredevil: Born Again" Season 3 is reportedly set to be the only Marvel series released before the premiere of "Avengers: Secret Wars" in late 2027. The next phase will then kick off with "Zodiac."
Unlike some previous Marvel Cinematic Universe series that pursued movie-scale productions, "Zodiac" is reportedly keeping production costs under control. This budgetary approach allows well-known characters and actors to participate in supporting roles and increases the likelihood of the series being produced for multiple consecutive seasons.
Marvel had previously canceled the second season of "Wonder Man" and announced that "Daredevil: Born Again" would conclude with its third season. Brad Winderbaum, head of Marvel Television, stated that actual viewership data would influence whether projects continue production. Currently, details regarding the release timing, budget direction, actor involvement, and multi-season plans for "Zodiac" have been disclosed by media outlets, but Marvel has not yet officially announced a complete production plan.
