Happinet has announced that its independent game brand, Happinet Indie Collection, will participate in Digital Games Expo 2026 on November 8, featuring demo stations for six games. Lost Museum: Tale of the Painted Gods is a key new title in this lineup.
Lost Museum: Tale of the Painted Gods is an adventure game scheduled to launch on Nintendo Switch 2 and PC in summer 2027. Players must click to explore paintings and exhibits within the museum, converse with "Painted Gods" born from the emotions and memories embedded in the artworks, and gather clues to uncover the meaning behind lost memories.
The other five demo titles are Ai's Story, already available on Nintendo Switch; the Nintendo Switch 2 version of Stray, set for release on November 12; Yokai Country, planned for 2027; Tokyo Story, still in development; and the cat-warrior action-adventure game Meow Warrior: Silver-Winged Cat Warrior, scheduled for spring 2027.
Participants trying out each title can receive limited-edition giveaways such as stickers, postcards, or magnets. Meow Warrior: Silver-Winged Cat Warrior will offer different prizes based on progress in a ten-minute challenge. Licensed merchandise for Ai's Story, including hoodies, sweatshirts, and phone cases, will also be on display. The event will be held at Akihabara UDX.
