SHIFT UP launched "Stellar Blade: Complete Edition" on Nintendo Switch 2 on November 6, marking the game's first appearance on a Nintendo console. The digital version is now available on the Nintendo eShop for 7,980 yen (including tax), with a CERO D rating.
The game stars Eve, an elite warrior. She is tasked with heading to Earth, which has been seized by a mysterious force, to battle formidable enemies while uncovering the mystery behind the planet's collapse. Players can also customize their character by combining skills and equipment. The Switch 2 version supports motion controls with Joy-Con 2, usable in combat and other activities.
The Complete Edition includes the previously released "NieR:Automata" collaboration DLC, featuring the Emil Shop, Eve's 2B and A2 outfits, Lily's 9S outfit, and Adam's Emil headgear. After collecting "Stellar Tears," players can also unlock the Pod 042-themed drone appearance.
The collaboration DLC with "Goddess of Victory: Nikke" is also included, allowing players to challenge the Scarlet boss battle and earn outfits, hairstyles, and music tracks upon victory. Additional content features a shooting range mini-game, a new shop, and fishing collection elements.
The four newly added "Bayonetta" collaboration outfits, themed around Bayonetta, Jeanne, Nun, and Black Tresses, have already been provided via a free update for the PC and PS5 versions. The launch trailer has been released, and a demo version allowing players to experience the prologue story and combat is available on the Nintendo eShop.
