Unofficial ASTRAL CHAIN Native PC Port Showcases ASTRAL CHAIN DLSS 5 Graphics!

An unofficial native PC port of Astral Chain has released a demo showcasing DLSS 5 neural rendering. The video primarily highlights visual changes but does not provide specific settings, resolution, or performance data.

Judging from the demo footage, environmental textures appear more detailed, while scene lighting is slightly darker, enhancing the atmosphere. The overall look resembles a remaster, though this is a subjective impression based on the video and not the project's official positioning.

In addition to the DLSS 5 demo, this unofficial port continues to receive updates. The version released on November 4 added support for controllers other than Xbox pads, along with experimental features such as uncapped frame rates, an in-game settings menu, and vibration functionality.

The project description states that most of the code, tools, reverse engineering, and documentation were completed using Anthropic's Claude via Claude Code. The original 30 FPS cap had discouraged the author from replaying the game, an issue resolved by this port.

This project is not an official PC release from Nintendo or PlatinumGames, and its demonstrated effects and technical implementation should not be confused with official products.
