US White House Releases Another Policy Promo Video in the Style of 'The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time'

Is everyone fond of picking on easy targets? The official U.S. White House X account, having "offended" multiple times before, posted another video titled "The Legend of Trump: Make America Great Again" on November 6. It presents policy propaganda in the visual style and adventure narrative format of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, while Nintendo, repeatedly dragged into the spotlight, remains silent.

The White House released a similar video this past September, which primarily featured cartoonish depictions of Trump and the Oval Office. This latest version incorporates more complete adventure scenes, further emphasizing its gamified presentation.

The new video also includes several policy promotion points, such as "the largest drop in prescription drug prices in over 60 years" and "the largest decline in murder rates in 125 years."

Media outlets speculate that the video's release timing may be linked to the launch of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time for Nintendo Switch 2, but the White House has not explained its creative motives, and this connection has not been officially confirmed.

Reporters have also criticized the White House for continuously borrowing content from anime and games, describing this latest effort as unauthorized use. Currently, there is no clear information regarding Nintendo's permission, objection, or any legal action taken, and the White House has not responded to questions about the rights status of the materials used.
