Epic Games is currently offering two PC games, "Funtimes" and "Idle Champions of the Forgotten Realms," for free on the Epic Games Store for a limited time. Current information indicates the event will end on November 13, but there is a one-hour discrepancy in the exact cutoff time, so players should refer to the store page for accuracy.
"Funtimes"The setting of "Funtimes" is an ocean covered in trash. Players take on the role of a captain, building a mobile water town with drifters, recycling waste like plastic and driftwood to construct homes and workplaces, and sustaining residents through seawater desalination and cooking fish.
After the town moves, players can explore submerged ruins and islands, rescue survivors and animals, and search for pre-flood technology. Survivors possess specializations such as bird keeping, chemistry, or electrical engineering, which help unlock buildings and quests.
"Idle Champions of the Forgotten Realms" is an idle strategy game based on Dungeons & Dragons characters, featuring over 140 characters from tabletop RPGs, novels, and video games, including Astarion and Karlach from "Baldur's Gate 3." Players need to form teams based on character abilities and synergies, with combat, leveling up, and gold collection all automated. The next free game, "Knights of Braveland," is expected to be available starting at 1:00 AM on November 13.
