Sega stated that current marketing efforts are primarily targeted at existing fans of the Persona series. A high proportion of users who added the game to their wishlists had previously purchased multiple titles in the series, indicating that current attention is mainly coming from the core audience.

The series' overall sales are also growing. Cumulative sales from April to September 2026 reached 2.23 million copies, approximately 1.6 times the 1.38 million copies sold during the same period last year, and approaching 70% of the 3.22 million copies sold in the previous full fiscal year. Older titles such as Persona 5 Royal and Persona 3 Reload performed well, with particularly significant growth in the North American and Asian markets. Sega believes that the announcement of new title information and associated promotions have driven user interest.
