On November 6, Atlus announced that, in conjunction with the release of the Switch 2 version of Metaphor: ReFantazio, it will lower the prices of existing PC and console versions starting November 12. The tax-included price for the standard edition will drop from 9,878 yen to 3,990 yen. This adjustment is an official price revision, not a limited-time promotion.
This price adjustment covers the PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 4 versions. The tax-included price for the "Atlus Brand 35th Anniversary Digital Edition" will also drop from 15,500 yen to 5,990 yen. Atlus has not yet clarified whether other regions will see synchronized adjustments, nor has it announced the price for the Switch 2 version itself.
In addition to the price adjustment, Atlus's official YouTube channel released a "Learn About Metaphor: ReFantazio in 120 Seconds" introductory video, narrated by Misato Fukuen, the voice actress for Eupha in the game.
