"Strikemania" Demo to Launch at Steam Next Fest in February 2027

Publisher AlterEyes announced that Strikemania, a fast-paced action game developed by indie developer Michaël Jacquet, plans to release a demo during the Steam Next Fest in February 2027, with closed beta access applications now open.

The game adopts an arcade visual style from the late 1970s to the 1980s. Instead of controlling a pilot, players take control of the missile itself, needing to break through defenses and reach the endpoint before time runs out. Each level features different routes, requiring players to adjust angles, launch timing, and momentum, finding the fastest path through repeated attempts, breaking personal records, and competing with players worldwide.

In some routes, previously launched missiles reappear, traveling alongside the current one. Players can use these historical trajectories to clear defenses or create gaps, paving the way for subsequent attempts. Thus, the process left behind by failure becomes a resource for solving levels, rather than simply starting over.

Strikemania also includes a built-in level editor, allowing players to design tracks with complex obstacles. The game has not yet announced an official release date; confirmed plans include a demo release in February 2027 and the opening of closed beta access applications.
