GAMEDUO has released version 1.2.0 for the casual pixel-art idle RPG "Hero Goes to Work in the Dungeon Again Today." The update focuses on revamping the Duel Arena into a weekly league system, while also adding a VIP system and adjusting progression and new player tutorials. The game launched globally on October 16, challenging players to fend off monsters and delve deeper into the dungeon floor by floor.
The revamped Duel Arena follows the game's workplace theme, featuring seven job ranks from Intern to Director. Players will be promoted or demoted based on their weekly rankings to claim rewards, with higher-tier leagues offering limited-time profile customizations. The duel visuals now include VS opening sequences and K.O. slow-motion effects.
The newly added VIP system features multiple tiers, granting exclusive cosmetics upon leveling up. While the privilege is active, players can also use features such as Adventure Speed Boost.
Character progression and the new player experience have also been adjusted in this update. Relics now support one-click upgrades, and early-game guidance for skills, equipment, and synthesis has been improved. The game revolves around heroes "going to work" in dungeons every day, featuring pixel art, large-area skills, impactful combat animations, and workplace-humor-filled monologues from the heroes.
