We've now unlocked a new system that allows us to enhance our equipment and abilities. Feel free to upgrade boldly, as the materials used are independent.
The Basic Abilities section features a skill tree that allows you to learn new skills. For example, "Deflect," which is automatically granted early in the DEMO version, can be learned by holding F. Choose other skills based on your playstyle.
Upgrade Everythinggj you can in the enhancement interface, as resources are currently plentiful.
After finishing the enhancements, follow the quest objective and ring the bell.
Ring the bell to enter another dimension where you can practice new skills. Completing the practice sessions will earn you rewards.
Now that we've learned Deflect, let's practice it. First, hold down the right mouse button, then press F just before an attack lands to deflect it. This is a very useful skill.
Deflect can also be used to parry ranged attacks, significantly reducing their impact.
In addition to practicing skills, there's also the option to rematch powerful foes. Defeating all enemies will reward you with cosmetic items.
After completing the tutorial, you'll receive the third Oni weapon, "Dual Blades [Wind Scroll]". This weapon is ideal for clearing out hordes of minor enemies.
You can switch weapons by holding ALT.
