Turkish developer Compact Core Games revealed the Steam store page and official trailer for the multiplayer party game Knight Party on September 13. The game supports up to four players online, with no release date announced yet.
The game is set in a kingdom that no longer has knights, but the royal tournament still needs participants. Players will don armor that could turn into a coffin and enter the arena to compete in a series of deadly events.
Events include cannons, archery, catapults, serving food in an exploding tavern, crown grabbing, guillotine racing, and jousting, each with simple rules. The game is physics-driven, with knights constantly being blasted away by cannonballs or even torn apart; gore effects can be adjusted.
Players can also freely combine colors, armor pieces, and helmets to create unique knight looks. Knight Party now has a Steam store page, but the specific release date has not been announced.
